Launched in 1982 by the French Ministry for culture, the Fête de la Musique is held in more than hundred countries in Europe and over the world. The Festival is considered as the world’s largest, already present in more than 700 cities in the world. It is celebrated on the same day in more than 460 cities in 110 countries.
