The group Transitando Movimiento Artistico, the group responsible for painting the light posts / postes de luz around the Colonial Zone, got permission to continue their work brightening the Colonial City with unique art work on the light and electric posts around the city.
They spent last Saturday adding their art to the poles around the block of the Catedral de Santo Domingo. The area includes Calle Isabel la Catolica, Calle Padre Billini at the Plazoleta Padre Billini, Arzobispo Portes and Calle El Conde at Parque Colon.
I love walking out my front door and seeing this art instead of a dirty pole. Great work. Hoping that they will continue making the Colonial City beautiful for us all.
