*Festival Santa Barbara March 23 to the 29th. In the Santa Barbara section of the Colonial City is a week long festival sponsored by Centro de la Imagen, a product of Modafoca. This project is to transform and beautify different spaces in the city. This festival continues the project of painting the walls of many of the buildings with urban art commonly known as graffiti. There will be national and international artists contributing their artistic talents to beautify and provide a rich visual experience to the people that visit this small sector located next to the oldest part of the Ciudad Colonial. The group will be working with artists and community residents in the neighborhood, with the support of sponsors, public institutions and partners in a week long outdoor program geared to engage and educate the community and its visitors.
