The Cultural Center of Spain / Centro Cultural de España in Santo Domingo and Image Center / Centro de la Imagen invite you to participate in this years Rally Fotocultura 2014, a photo competition, which brings together 200 participants, adults and children, in one day devoted to photography.
Photo Imagine 2014 – Santo Domingo
Photographers, both professional and amateur, will roam the streets of the Colonial City taking digital snapshots around a given theme. With these images they will compete for one of three awards : Best Cinematography, Best Picture and Best Young reportage photography. / Mejor fotografía, Mejor foto-reportaje y Mejor fotografía joven.
*Rally Fotocultura 2014 will be held on September 20, 2014 starting at 9PM. You can register to participate until September 11 or while spaces are open.
*The Exhibition and Awards ceremony will be held on October 10, 2014 at 7PM at the Centro Cultural de España, Ciudad Colonial.

The Image Center / Centro de la Imagen is the first and only space dedicated to the promotion and development photographers and photography in Dominican Republic. The main objective of this NGO is to serve as a catalyst in the development of Dominican photographers from adolescence to adulthood. Our mission: “to create educational programs of the highest level to help teens and adults in Dominican Republic to become the serious photographer, enter the workplace and improve their lives.” / Nuestra misión: “crear programas educativos del más alto nivel para ayudar a los adolescentes y adultos en República Dominicana a convertido en los fotógrafos profesionales, introduzca el lugar de trabajo y mejorar sus vidas.”
