The International Women’s Club (IWC), a Dominican non-profit organization, is having its version of Oktoberfest and Beer Tasting on October 16, 2015 starting at 6:30PM.
For all you beer lovers and those who want to learn all about their beer. This will be an evening with friends and good beer to help a good cause.
Oktoberfest and Beer Tasting sponsored by the International Women’s Club of Santo Domingo,
Beer Tasting is a seminar lasting approximately 1 and 1/2 hours plus questions. You will learn about the basics of how beer is made and how to judge a good beer.
There will also be a German style BBQ plus lighter/vegetarian food available.
The event is a fundraiser; all proceeds from the sales of beers are going to the organizations supported by the IWC. The cost is RD$300 per person for the beers used. There are limited seats available so contact us now to make a reservation. Sign-up: activities@iwcsantodomingo.org
If you cannot join in the beer tasting you can still come by and celebrate Oktoberfest with some good food, beer and friends helping a good cause. The doors will be open Friday October 16, 2015 from 6:30PM to 11:30PM and will be held at the Centro Cultural Dominico Aleman (The Dominican German Center) on Calle Isabel la Católica #212 (across from BanReservas), Zona Colonial, Santo Domingo.
