The new taxes are in effect. I just received my bill for TV – Internet – Telephone. This is the message inside the bill in English and Español.
As you know, the past 10 November 2012, tax reform and tax law was promulgated by the Executive branch. Under the content of the aforementioned law, by subscription television services received an addition of 10% as selective tax to consumption (ISC). This tax should be considered for the billing of those services from this month of November 2012. As a result, from this month, your invoice will have the following charges:
Concept amount charge remains or is new?
*Income Plan TV remains the same amount
*ITBIS (transfer of industrialized goods and services tax) 16% remains the same
*CDT (contribution to the development of telecommunications 2% remains the same)
*ISC (selective tax on consumption) 10% new

Como es de su conocimiento, el pasado 10 de noviembre del 2012, la ley de Reforma Fiscal y Tributaria fue promulgada por el Poder Ejecutivo. Bajo el contenido de la citada ley, los servicios de televisión por suscripción recibieron una adición de un 10% como Impuesto Selectivo al Consumo (ISC). Este impuesto debe considerarse para la facturación de dichos servicios a partir de este mes de noviembre 2012. Como consecuencia, a partir de este mes, su factura tendrá los siguientes cargos:
