The show originally aired on October 29, 2012. Bourdain visited my favorite place to go for a sandwich whatever time of the night or day it is, Barra Payan located on 13 de Marzo walking distance from Colonial Zone. He also visited Playa Rincon, Samana, Boca Chica, and El Cabito in Las Galeras. He ate Johnny Cake, Fried Salami, Fried Fish and Roasted Pork. He even went to Villa Mella for their famous Chicherones and he liked them! Hey Anthony! He said you should visit Dominican Republic for the beach, the food, the people and the food! Wonder how many Presidente Cervezas he had to say the food twice..lol!
