The XVI Dominican Republic Jazz Festival 2012 is almost here!
The 16th year of this festival and it is still going strong.

It is a free multi-day festival full of rhythm, flavor, and color. Each year it is held on the North Coast in Sosua and Cabarete bringing some of the best of Latin Jazz, both international and local musicians.
Besides the concerts there will be Jazz Workshops, master classes, clinics for students and youth concerts, which are sponsored by the Fundación Educativa Fedujazz.
Friday November 2: The inaguration of the Festival is in Parque Mirador de Sosúa with The Juan Francisco Ordóñez Trío from República Dominicana then commences with “Guitarras Latinas” with Juan Francisco Ordóñez from Dominican Republic, Pancho Amat from Cuba and Pedro Guzman from Puerto Rico.
Saturday November 3: At Playa Cabarete the rhythms of Yasser Tejeda & Palotre from Dominican Republic, Fabrizio Sotti from Italy and Ricky Rodriguez and Henry Cole from United States. Also Stanley Jordan from USA.
Sunday November 4 at 9PM: At Playa Cabarete is Claudia Acuña from Chile, Fabrizio Sotti from Italy and Cuco Valoy and Ramon Orlando from Dominican Republic.
