The Minsiter of Culture / El Ministerio de Cultura announces “The Long Night of Museums Summer 2013”/ “La Noche Larga de los Museos Verano 2013”. Entrance to all the wonderful museums of the Zona Colonial on this night are FREE from 9AM to 12 midnight on Saturday June 22, 2013.

This has become a real event held many times throughout the year. this activity is to get people to know their history and appreciate our many museums in the Colonial City and elsewhere throughout the country. There are many different activities for all ages making the museums fun and interesting including concerts, tastings, theater, workshops, and much more.

The Ministry of culture and the Museo Alcázar de Colón will be presenting the show “Danza Colonial y Contemporánea”/ “Colonial and Contemporary Dance” dat 10PM during the night long the museums summer version. This is to enrich your knowledge of Dominican culture in a universal dimension.
