Rubén Blades finally returns to Dominican Republic after being away for 12 long years. He is bringing his show “Cantos y Cuentos Urbanos” to the Palacio de los Deportes, Santo Domingo on December 14, 2013 at 9PM.
Blades, from Panama, is known as the Poet of Salsa / Poeta de la Salsa. He has been performing for more than 30 years. A man of many hats including being the Minister of Culture in Panama. His newest project is acting in the movie “Hands of Stone” about boxer Roberto Duran with Robert De Niro.
