The PGA TOUR Latin America / Latinoamérica (NEC Series Tour) began in 2010. This is the 2nd year it will be held at Teeth of the Dog, Casa de Campo in La Romana. The purse for the winner is a whopping $150,000 US Dollars. They will be traveling to 11 countries this year (USA, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala, Argentina, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Panama, Brazil and Chile). República Dominicana will be the 7th stop in the tour this year.
