Jazzeando el Cancionero Dominicano Volumen 2 / Jazzeando Dominican Songbook Volume 2. There will be fresh and innovative versions if Dominican songs and music translated to jazz and related musical styles in an original and striking way. Some of the musical composers Volume 2 pays tribute to include Victor Victor Manuel Jiménez, José Antonio Rodríguez, Juan Luis Guerra, Luis Alberti and Julio Alberto Hernández. Jazzeando gives the original meringues, sons, boleros and ballads a new dimension.
Pengbian Sang & Retro Jazz will be holding two big concerts both are free. The first free concert is in Santo Domingo on Saturday May 17, 2014 in Plaza España, Colonial Zone at 8PM. The second is in Santiago Thursday May 22, 2014 at the Jardines – Teatro Regional Cibao at 8PM.
