Here it comes again! The Alliance Française de Santo Domingo announces the 33rd anniversary of the Fiesta de la Música 2014 Santo Domingo / Fête de la Musique 2014 Saint-Domingue / Music Festival 2014 Santo Domingo . Music, dancing and fun in the streets of the Colonial City of Santo Domingo returns again in June. This year the festival is on Saturday June 21, 2014. Dominican Republic again joins in the fun or this World-Wide festival.

Launched in 1982 by the French Ministry for culture, the Fête de la Musique is held in more than hundred countries in Europe and over the world. It takes place every 21st June, the day of the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere. The Festival is now an international phenomenon, celebrated on the same day in more than 460 cities in 110 countries.
