September 28 and 29th are the dates for this years gastronomic affair, Taste Santo Domingo.
This yummy event will be held in Santo Domingo. Hosting this years event are the Renaissance Jaragua and Meliá Santo Domingo on Ave. George Washington (The Malecon) in Santo Domingo. The two day event is divided into day and night events. The day program is mainly for food & beverage professionals. The night brings displays of culinary shows and events dedicated to epicureans. The event is a trade show, a grand tasting, and conferences and culinary demonstrations.
This year there will be a Gastronomic Forum, and a space devoted to wine and spirits.
The big attraction this year is when Spanish chef Dani García will display his nitrogen cooking techniques. Also Eva Riera Torrecillo will have a culinary demonstration for THERMOMIX and Caribbean Cuisine, this brand’s representative in the Dominican Republic. Chef Riera is the Associate Sales Director for THERMOMIX Algeciras and Ceuta.
