Picture of the Day – Alcazar de Colon Morning

Before the sun rises it brightens the sky over the Colonial City of Dominican Republic. The panoramic view of the pre-dawn skies viewed from Plaza España. You can see the outline of the original home of Don Diego Colón and his wife María de Toledo, the Palacio Virreinal Alcázar de Colón as it looms in the darkness with its one central window glowing in the morning light.
