International Film and Fine Arts Festival 2012

The festival will be at the upscale Novo-Centro Mall located on Lope de Vega, between streets Roberto Pastoriza and Gustavo Mejia Ricart in Santo Domingo from September 27th to October 7th, 2012.

Festival Internacional de Cine

There will be many unique short and full length films by both local and international film makers.

Orange Public choice award for best film/ Premio del publico Orange a la mejor pelicula is the best of the festival as voted on by the public. The winning production will be awarded a statuette and $8,000 USD.

or send a mini-message free from an Orange phone to number 4212 with the name of the winning film. They are also giving gifts to some lucky voters.

Special mention of the jury/ menciones especiales del jurado
A local jury composed of seven film critic members and filmmaking personalities will be responsible for the selection of the the winners in the following categories:

Best Actor
Best Actress
