The Ministry of Interior and Police/ El Ministerio de Interior y Policía, José Ramón Fadul announced the yearly special Christmas hours for the sale of liquor for the Christmas Holiday season 2014 – 2015.

From Wednesday December 10, 2014 until Thursday January 8, 2015 all business can stay open as long as they like for all to enjoy more time for the Christmas cheer. This way people celebrating Christmas/ navideñas, New Years/ Año Nuevo and all the fun times of the holidays do not have to end because of the hour. All places that serve drinks can stay open as long as they like. After Dia de los Reyes / 3 Kings’ Day also known as Epiphany all will go back to normal hours for these businesses.
Fadul also said that the MIP (Ministro de Interior y Policía) will increase surveillance in business to prevent and avoid actions that threaten the safety of citizens and public order.
